IMPROVEMENT OF SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION OF DB-50 BREAKERS AT H. B. ROBINSON STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT, UNIT NO. 2 (65419)
By letter dated December 5, 1988, you stated that you were completing an engineering study on the modification of the 480 volt DB-50 circuit breakers for improved short circuit protection.
You stated that you have decided to proceeded with the current limiter option for modification. You expect the modification to be completed during the 13th refueling outage scheduled in mid-1990.
The staff has reviewed your proposed modification and finds it to be acceptable. Pending your implementation of the modification during the 13th refueling outage, we consider this issue to be closed.
