EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION INSPECTION - H. B. ROBINSON STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT UNIT NO. 2 This letter confirms the dates of May 4 through 8, 1987 for the NRC equipment qualification (EQ) inspection of H. B. Robinson Steam Electric Plant, Unit No. 2. These dates were established by telephone with Mr. Reggie Wallace of your staff and Mr. R. C. Wilson of the NRC. We have also discussed the logistics of the inspection in detail with your staff. The entire inspection will take place at the plant site.

A management entrance meeting is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on May 4, 1987. A management exit meeting is tentatively scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on May 8, 1987.

A plant walkdown inspection of equipment is tentatively planned for May 6, 1987.

The inspection will include the following:

1. Review of your implementation of a 10 CFR 50.49 program including preservation of the qualified status of qualified equipment.

2. Review of your implementation of Technical Evaluation Report/Safety Evaluation Report EQ corrective action commitments.

3. Review of EQ documentation files.

4. Physical inspection of selected equipment.
