Dear Mr. Rubenstein:
Carolina Power & Light Company hereby resubmits our Interval 2 In-Service Inspection Test Program for pumps and valves. The present submittal provides further justification for exemption requests which were denied in the December 23, 1985 Safety Evaluation Report and includes additional requests for relief. The Company committed to provide this justification in a letter dated January 17, 1986. The entire program is resubmitted due to an internal procedure change which requires a changed format for such programs. Details of each major revision are included in the enclosed summary sheet.
Additionally, two sets of drawings in support of the program are included for your convenience.
