INSERVICE INSPECTION OF STEAM GENERATORS AT H. B. ROBINSON STEAM.
ELECTRIC PLANT UNIT NO. 2 (HBR-2)
In consonance with licensing condition 3.I.d and the HBR-2 Technical Specifications, by letter dated July 8, 1983, you submitted the results of steam generator testing conducted during May 1983. In addition to inspection results and repair efforts, your report provided justification for continued operation for 4.5 Effective Full Power Months (EFPM).
We have reviewed these results and conclude that H. B. Robinson Unit No. 2 may continue to operate for 4.5 EFPM without undue risk to the public health and safety. The steam generator tubes shall be inspected at the end of 4.5 EPPM.
Our safety evaluation is enclosed.
