50-261 This letter confirms the telephone discussion of August 13, 1982, between Mr. R. B. Starkey Jr., General Manager,,H. B. Robinson and Mr. C. W. Burger of this office in which, after consultation with NRR, we concurred with your request contained in letter RSEP/82-1399 dated August 13, 1982. In your letter, you requested a 48 hour5.555556e-4 days <br />0.0133 hours <br />7.936508e-5 weeks <br />1.8264e-5 months <br /> extension to the maintenance period in accordance with Technical Specification 3.3.7. The extension permitted the plant to remain in a Hot Shutdown condition to complete repairs on the "A" Residual Heat Removal containment sump suction valve 861A.
