Dear Mr. Jones:
This is in response to your letters of April 27 and May 21, 1979, wherein you reported the results of a recent seismic reanalysis of the reactor coolant piping at H. B. Robinson Unit No. 2 using an updated version of the WESTDYN code which uses an absolute sum technique.
On the basis that the reanalysis was conducted with both an approved method and acceptable results, we consider this matter resolved, and are closing out this action item.
A copy of our safety evaluation addressing this' matter is enclosed.
