NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-261/97-13
Dear Mr. Keenan:
On November 21, 1997, the NRC completed an inspection at your H. B. Robinson
Power Plant. The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
During the week of November 17-21. 1997, an inspection team observed selected
rortions of your emergency organization's response in key facilities during
the emergency preparedness plume exposure exercise conducted on November 18.
1997. The emergency response observed during the simulated accident was
O considered satisfactory.
Your attention is directed to the exercise weakness identified in Paragraph
P4.3 of the enclosed Inspection Report. As required by Section IV.F of
Appendix E to 10 CFR Part 50, any weakness that is identified shall be
corrected. Accordingly, please advise us, within 45 days of the date of this
letter, of the corrective action you have taken, or plan to take, showing the
estimated date of completion with regard to this exercise weakness.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice." a copy of
this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
