NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-261/94-06
This refers to the inspection conducted by E. Girard of this office on
March 28 - April 1, 1994.
The inspection included a review of activities
authorized for your Robinson facility. At the conclusion of the inspection,
the.findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the
report.
.This
inspection evaluated the implementation of the motor-operated valve (MOV)
program that you have developed to meet your commitments to Generic Letter
(GL) 89-10, "Safety-Related Motor-Operated Valve Testing and Surveillance."
The inspection consisted of interviews with personnel and selective
examination of records and procedures for a sample of MOVs.
Based.on the
evaluation completed, we conclude that you are implementing a satisfactory
program in response to GL 89-10. However, it should be noted that your
implementation of the program and its evaluation by the NRC are incomplete.
The enclosed report identifies issues that will require further evaluation.
Within the scope of the inspection, violations or deviations were not identi
fied.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of
this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
