This refers to your letter of July 30, 1981,
informing us of steps you have taken
to correct the significant health physics appraisal findings and violations con
cerning activities under NRC Operating License No. DPR-23 brought to your atten
tion in our letter of June 26, 1981.
We will examine your corrective actions and
plans during subsequent inspections.
In your response, you denied violation D.(2) and provided additional information
to support the denial.
Based on our review of the additional information you
provided, violation D.(2) cited in Appendix A, and transmitted by our letter of
June 26, 1981, is hereby withdrawn and our records will be changed accordingly.
In your response to violation E, you proposed a change to 10 CFR 20.301 to exempt
specified concentrations from its coverage.
A change ,to this effect is under
consideration by the NRC. Your proposal -will be considered in the development of
this change.
