JAN 1 3 1981 APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Carolina Power and Light Company License No. DPR-23 H. B. Robinson Based on the NRC inspection September 30 - October 9,
- 1980, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC require ments as indicated below.
These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
Technical Specification 6.8.1 requires written procedures and administrative policies be established, implemented, and maintained that meet or exceed the requirements and recommendations of Sections 5.1 and 5.3 of ANSI N18.7-1972 and Appendix "A" of USNRC Regulatory Guide 1.33 dated November 3, 1972.
Contrary to the above, on October 6, 7 and 8, 1980 handling and storage of radioactive waste was performed without the benefit of a written procedure.
This is an infraction.
