The SEP evaluation of Safe Shutdown Systems-for San Onofre 1 was transmitted to you on June 20, 1981.
Your comments were provided in a letter dated April 26, 1982.
The revised final evaluation is enclosed. This evaluation will be a basic input to the integrated safety assessment unless you identify changes needed to reflect the as-built conditions of your facility. This topic assessment may be revised in the future if your facility design is changed or if NRC criteria relating to this topic are modified before the integrated assessment is complete.
Also enclosed are positions for resolution in the integrated assessment that the staff has taken as a result of this topic evaluation.
