SUBJFCT: FINAL EVALUATION REPORT OF SEP TOPIC VI-4, CONTAINMENT ISOLATION SYSTEM FOR THE SAN ONOFRE GENERATING STATION, UNIT I By letter dated March 3, 1982, we issued a draft safety evaluation for SEP Topic VI-4, "Containment Isolation System."
Also, in that letter we requested that you provide comments within thirty days of receipt of that lettertihnorder that they could be included in our final report. Since over 180 days have:elapsed and no comments have been received we can only assume that the draft report was factually correct and complete. Therefore, we now consider that report final and it will be a basic input to the integrated safety assessment for your facility. The need for certain system modifica tions ifnorder to being this plant's design into conformance with current criteria will be determined during that same integrated assessment.
