1. ALL E&SC MEASURES SHALL BE INSTALLED PRIOR TO INITIATION OF LAND DISTURBANCE WITHIN THE AREA PROTECTED 8Y EARLIER MEASURES.
2. EROSION CONTROL MEASURES WILL BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES.

SPECIFICATIONS - REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE 1.ALL REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE <RCPl FOR TH IS SHALL BE NEW AND PURCHASED SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS PROJECT.

THE SUBCONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE SHAW WITH COPIES OF PURCHASE VERIFICATION FOR ALL RCP.

2.ALL RCP FOR THIS PROJECT SHALL BE 36-INCH DIAMETER CLASS V.

3.ALL RCP FOR THIS PROJECT SHALL BE DELIVERED TO THE PROJECT SITE IN COMPLETE SECTIONS AS MANUFACTURED.

NO PARTIAL SECTIONS OF RCP WILL BE ACCEPTED. THE SUBCONTRACTOR SHALL STORE THE PIPE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROJECT SPECIFICATION AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS.

4.ALL RCP FOR THIS PROJECT SHALL CONFIRM TO THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS

GRADED AGGREGATE BASE ROADWAY 1.THIS WORK SHALL CONSIST OF FURNISHING AND PLACING ONE OR MORE COURSES OF GRADED AGGREGATE BASE <GABl IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE SPECIFICATIONS AND IN CONFORMITY WITH THE LINES, GRADES AND THICKNESSES SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS. GAB SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS, CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS AND BRIDGES, LATEST ED ITION -

DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, STATE OF GEORGIA, SECTION 318 <LATEST EDITION).

2.THE GAB SHALL BE COMPACTED TO A MINIMUM OF 95 PERCENT OF ITS MAXIMUM DRY DENSITY AS DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM D 1557 <MODIFIED PROCTOR).

3. THE GAB SHALL BE PLACED IN LIFTS WITH A MAXIMUM THICKNESS OF FOUR INCHES PRIOR TO COMPACTION.

4.THE FINAL SURFACE OF THE GAB COURSE ROADWAY SHALL BE BLADED TO A SMOOTH AND UNIFORM TEXTURE.

THE ROADWAY SURFACE SHALL CONFORM TO THE ESTABLISHED THICKNESSES AND ELEVATIONS WITH AN ACCEPTABLE TOLERANCE OF 1 ~ INCH.
