Docket No. 50-206 Containment Purging and Venting San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1 By letter dated September 27, 1979 the NRC requested that we commit to perform a valve qualification program which demonstrates the operability of the containment purge and vent valves during the design basis LOCA. This letter is to inform you that we are proceeding with the qualification of the purge and vent valves at San Onofre Unit 1.
More detailed information regarding the program will be provided to you in response to your October 23, 1979 letter regarding the same subject matter.
