Docket No. 50-206 Amendment Application No. 162 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 Enclosed is Amendment Application No. 162 to the Provisional Operating License DPR-13. Amendment Application No. 162 consists of Proposed Change No. 199, which is a request to revise Appendix A, Technical Specifications, of Provisional Operating License DPR-13.
Proposed Change No. 199 is a request to revise Appendix A Technical Specifications to incorporate Limiting Conditions for Operation and Surveillance requirements associated with the containment spray actuation instrumentation. In accordance with resolution to Systematic Evaluation Program Topic VI-10.A, "Testing of Reactor Trip System and Engineered Safety Features, Including Response Time Testing," this proposed change incorporates LCOs and surveillances that are not currently included in the technical specifications.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 170.12, the review of Proposed Change No. 199 contained in Amendment Application No. 162 has been determined to require a fee of
$150.00. Accordingly, SCE's check in the amount of $150.00 is enclosed.
