An application dated October 16, 1987, as supplemented by a submittal dated November 6, 1987, was filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation for review. This application submitted a report on the Engineered Safety Features Single Failure Analysis for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit No. 1.

The fee required pursuant to 10 CFR 170 was not remitted with your application. Therefore, it is requested that your Company remit the application fee of $150 for your October 16 request. Your Company will be billed for any additional costs for the review of your application in accordance with 10 CFR 170.12(c) and 170.21.
