Docket No. 50-206 Amendment Application No. 142 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 Enclosed is Amendment Application No. 142 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13. Amendment Application No. 142 consists of Proposed Change No. 179 which requests revision of the Appendix A, Technical Specifications.
Proposed Change No. 179 is a request to revise Appendix A Technical Specification (T.S.) Sections 4.2.1, "Safety Injection and Containment Spray Periodic Testing" and 4.2.3, "Safety Injection System Hydraulic Valve Testing." T.S. 4.2.3 was established in 1981 following modifications to the Safety Injection System hydraulic valves. The T.S. was interim and was to be replaced by a long-term T.S. The modification to T.S. 4.2.1 accommodates the requirement for a long term program by expanding current Safety Injection System Testing Requirements.
Pursuant to 10CFR 170.12, the review of Proposed Change 179 contained in Amendment Application No. 142 has been determined to require a fee of $150.00. Accordingly, SCE's check in the amount of $150.00 is enclosed.
