Docket No. 50-206 Date Check Amendment Application No. 141 Received San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 Enclosed is Amendment Application No. 141 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13. Amendment Application No. 141 consists of Proposed Change Nos. 167 and 175 which request revision of the Appendix A, Technical Specifications.
Proposed Change No. 167 is a request to revise Appendix A Technical Specification Section 4.11, Control Room Emergency Air Treatment System to include testing requirements of a planned modification, to revise the surveillance standards to more closely reflect system design and to revise the technical specifications to more closely follow the Standard Technical Specifications and the current regulatory guidance. The planned modification is the installation of the control room emergency air treatment system duct heaters discussed in SCE's letter dated July 24, 1986. Proposed Change No.
175 is a request to revise Appendix A Technical Specification Section 4.1.6, Pressurizer Relief Valves, to allow for the suspension of PORV Block Valve surveillance testing during periods when the block valves are being maintained closed in order to satisfy the action requirements of Specification 3.1.5.
Pursuant to 10CFR 170.12, the review of Proposed Changes 167 and 175 contained in Amendment Application No. 141 have been determined to require a fee of $150.00. Accordingly, SCE's check in the amount of $150.00 is enclosed.
