NRC BULLETIN 88-04, POTENTIAL SAFETY-RELATED PUMP LOSS, SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNIT 1 (TAC No. 69967)
By letter dated March 1, 1991, you provided a revised response to NRC Bulletin 88-04, "Potential Safety-Related Pump Loss," for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1. Your response confirmed that all long-term actions associated with the issues identified in the bulletin, including a modification to in crease the main feedwater pump minimum flow rate in the safety injection mode, have been completed. The NRC staff also notes that your engineering evaluations for the actions taken have been documented and that this documentation will be permanently maintained.
Accordingly, your response has addressed the issues in the bulletin and we are closing the subject TAC. Further NRC review, if any, will be by future audit or inspection.
