SEP TOPICS VI-7.C, ECCS SINGLE FAILURE CRITERION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR LOCKING OUT POWER TO VALVES AND VI-7.C.2, FAILURE MODE ANALYSIS (SAN ONOFRE)
The staff, as part of our review of the subject topics, has noted the content of Amendment No. 25 to Provisional Operating License DPR-13 issued April 1, 1977. Based on the assumption that you have complied with our request in our October 16, 1978 letter to install redundant undervoltage relays on each of the 4160 busses 1C and 2C during the refueling outage for Cycle 7 operation, we have concluded that the subject topics duplicate our previous submittal and our review thereof.
Please inform us within 30 days if this assumption is correct so that the subject topics may be considered completed with the exception of consideration of implementation of the other three permanent modifications previously deferred and publication of the integrated assessment for your plant.
