Gentlemen:
This refers to the management meeting held with Southern California Edison
Company, Region V, and NRR in the Region V office on March 14, 1990.
During
this meeting we discussed Unit 1 design deficiencies which have been identi
fied and reported by SCE during the past year. In addition, you provided an
update on engineering program improvements and the Design Basis Documentation
(DBD) review being performed by your staff.
This meeting was related to activities authorized by NRC License Nos. DPR-13,
NPF-10 and NPF-15. Subjects discussed during the meeting are described in
the enclosed Meeting Report.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosed
report will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased
