LICENSE AMENDMENT FOR SECONDARY WATER CHEMISTRY MONITORING SAN ONOFRE UNIT 1 The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 60 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1. This amendment is in response to your application dated September 18, 1979, as supplemented February 24, 1982, which supersedes your application dated December 28, 1976.
The amendment adds a new License Condition (Paragraph 3.1) Whch relates to the implementation of a secondary water chemistry monitoring program to inhibit steam generator tube degradation, We-found it necessary to modify your proposed license condition, We have discussed this change with your representative, and have mutually agreed upon it.
A copy of our related Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
