REQUIRED ACTIONS BASED ON GENERIC IMPLICATIONS OF SALEM ATWS EVENTS (GENERIC LETTER 83-28) ITEM 4.1 Re:

San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. 1 The NRC staff has completed the review of your response dated November 28, 1983 to Item 4.1, Reactor Trip System Reliability (Vendor-Related Modifications), of Generic Letter 83-28. Based on Southern California Edison Company's confirmation that all vendor-recommended modifications existing at the time of issuance of the generic letter have been implemented at San Onofre Unit No. 1, the staff concludes that the actions prescribed by Item 4.1 of the Generic Letter have been satisfactorily completed.
