NRC Inspection of San Onofre Units 1, 2 and 3
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. P. M. Qualls of this office on
January 14 - February 20, 1987, and Mr. P. H. Johnson of this office on
February 2-12 and March 25-26, 1987, of activities authorized by NRC License
Nos. DPR-13, NPF-10 and NPF-15, and to the discussion of our findings held
with members of your staff by Mr. Qualls on February 20, 1987, and by Mr.
Johnson on April 13, 1987.
Areas examinedduring this inspection are described in the enclosed inspection
report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personnel, and observations by the inspector.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified within the scope of this
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
