RE: CHARGING PUMP VIBRATIONS -
SAN ONOFRE, UNIT NO. 1 We have completed our review of the performance of the positive displace ment charging pump in the Chemical Volume and Control System at San Onofre, Unit 1. We have concluded that fatigue failures due to operation of this pump are not anticipated in either the discharge side or the suction side piping system. Our Safety Evaluation on this matter is enclosed.
