Docket No. 50-206 Turbine Disc Inspections San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 Your letter dated December 10, 1981 provided your safet
\\at of the Westinghouse approach to turbine disc inspection frequencies.
T at evaluation identified four criteria for an acceptable inspection. Your letter requested that we commit to use these criteria for future disc inspections at San Onofre Unit 1.
We have reviewed your letter and agree to use the four criteria therein for future disc inspections at San Onofre Unit 1. In addition, in accordance with your letter, we will no longer report the results of each turbine inspection to the NRC staff except through the normal activities of the Office of Inspection and Enforcement.
