The referenced letter provided our comments on your final safety evaluation of SEP Topics VI-1O.A and VII-2. Included as part of our comments were references to procedures which establish surveillance and testing requirements of plant systems and components. In particular,Section III.A.1 of Enclosure 2 of the referenced letter sited a procedure which indirectly monitors the volume of the Refueling Water Storage Tank (RWST). The purpose of this letter is to provide an additional procedure which directly establishes requirements to monitor the RWST level on a weekly basis. A copy of this procedure is enclosed. This information was verbally transmitted March 10, 1983 by telephone conversation with Eileen McKenna.
