ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO.120 TO PROVISIONAL OPERATING LICENSE SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNIT NO. 1 (TAC NO. 71155)
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 120 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. 1. The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated November 7, 1988.
The amendment changes the power supply for motor-operated valve MOV-358 (emergency core cooling recirculation flow to loop "C") from motor control center No. 3 to the Uninterruptible Power Supply to eliminate a single failure susceptibility in the recirculation system valve power supply.
Copies of our related Safety Evaluation and Notice of Issuance are enclosed.
