This request involves ten fire areas/zones outside containment where fire detection and fixed fire suppression systems have not been installed throughout the area and a similar request inside the containment for a single fire area. The area in side containment contains dedicated shutdown panel instruments that are not independent of the fire area under consideration.

In addition, an exemption from the technical requirements of III.G.2 was requested for four fire zones in areas outside containment without area-wide automatic fire detection and suppression systems.
