Docket No. 50-206 Amendment No. 112 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 Enclosed are three executed and thirty-seven conformed copies of Amendment No. 112 in Docket No. 50-206. Amendment No. 112 consists of Proposed Change No. 120 to the Technical Specifications incorporated into Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 as Appendices A and B.
Proposed Change No. 120 is a request to revise Appendix A Technical Specification 3.6, Containment Systems, and 3.8, Fuel Loading and Refueling, relating to boron concentration changes, resulting in positive reactivity changes, when the containment integrity is not intact.
It is respectfully requested that Proposed Change 120 be reviewed promptly. It is our desire that such a review be completed and appropriate action taken as soon as possible, since the boron concentration in the reactor coolant system is currently increasing to levels far in excess of those necessary to maintain an adequate shutdown margin.
Also enclosed is Southern California Edison Company's check No. A-112861 dated July 11, 1983, in the amount of $4,000.00 as required by 10 CFR 170.22.
