1. An August 16, 1982 request for Technical Specification changes appi cable to the level in the condensate storage tank to permit water inven tory to be based on maximum achieved power level. A Class II fee ($1,200) was remitted with your application pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22. This application was approved by Amendment No. 10 issued on October 26, 1982.

A September 30, 1982 application, which was resubmitted as part of an application dated October 21, 1982, for Technical Specification changes to allow operation in MODES 2 and 3 with the turbine overspeed protection system inoperable. Fees pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22 were not remitted with the September 30, 1982 application. The application was approved by Amendment No. 9 issued on October 7, 1982,.

Based on information provided by the ONRR staff as the result of their final reviews of your applications, it has been determined that a Class III fee ($4,000) is appropriate for each of the applications dated August 16 and September 30, 1982, because the reviews involved safety issues. Therefore, you are requested to remit the additional sum of $6,800 to this office.

The September 30, 1982 application is considered a separate request from that of October 21, 1982, which included additional proposed changes (NPF-10-17, -43 and

-44) and a Class II fee. A determination as to the appropriateness of the Class II fee for these three changes will be addressed after the ONRR staff have completed their review of them.
