Enforcement Conference This will confirm telephone conversations between Mr. H. B. Ray and D. F.
Kirsch on October 26 and 27, 1983, concerning an enforcement conference to be held between NRC management and SCE. The enforcement conference will be held at the NRC Region V office on November 9, 1983.
The attached Notice of Significant Licensee Meeting (Enclosure 1) details the time and proposed attendees. The following matters will be discussed as indicated in :
- 1. Noncompliance reported by you in Licensee Event Report 83-73 and examined by the Senior Resident Inspector in September and October 1983.
- 2.
NRC enforcement policies and procedures.
- 3.
NRC actions currently under consideration.
- 4.
Possible future action by NRC.
- 5.
Other matters of concern to NRC.
While the enforcement conference is intended to be between NRC and licensee management, we have no objection if you wish to have other appropriate persons present. We expect the enforcement conference will take approximately two hours.
