EXEMPTION FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF 10 CFR SECTION 50.54(o)
AND PART 50, APPENDIX J, REGARDING CONTAINMENT LEAKRATE TESTING (TAC NO. M84633)
By letter dated October 1, 1992, Southern California Edison Company requested exemptions from the leakrate testing requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(o), and all leakrate testing delineated in Appendix J to 10 CFR Part 50.
Based on the considerations discussed in the exemption, we have concluded that the information provided and the actions described in the application form an acceptable basis for the granting of an exemption. The Commission has determined, pursuant to 10 CFR 50.12, that this exemption is authorized by law and will not endanger life or property and is otherwise in the public interest.
The exemption is enclosed. A copy of the exemption is being forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
