RESOLUTION OF GENERIC ISSUE A-30, "ADEQUACY OF SAFETY-RELATED DC POWER SUPPLIES," PURSUANT TO 10 CFR 50.54(f) (GENERIC LETTER 91-06, MPA L106 (TAC NOS. M81491, M81492, AND M81493)

On April 29, 1991, the staff, under the authority of 10 CFR 50.54(f), issued Generic Letter 91-06 requesting all holders of operating licenses to provide written responses to questions relating to the "Adequency of Safety-Related DC Power Supplies," Generic Issue (GI) A-30. GI A-30 is part of GI-128, "Electrical Power Reliability."

Your letter dated November 5, 1991, forwarded the information applicable to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2 and 3. The completed questionnaires that you and other licensees have provided will be used by the staff to determine whether further staff action is needed. Any future requirements relating to GI A-30 will be the subject of seperate correspondence.

This action closes TAC Nos. M81491, M81492, and M81493. Your timely response to Generic Letter 91-06 is appreciated. If you have any questions regarding this action, please contact me on (301) 504-1367.
