The following applications were filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review in connection with the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit Nos. 2 and 3.
- 1. A June 27, 1984 application for Proposed Changes NPF-10/15-50, NPF-10/15-179, and NPF-10/I5-180 for Unit Nos. 2 and 3. Check No. A-260877, in the amount of $900, accompanied this applica tion.
- 2. A June 29, 1984 application for Proposed Changes relating to Technical Specification 3/4.4.4 on Steam Generators for Unit Nos. 2 and 3. Check No. A-257884, in the amount of $300, accompanied this application.
The revised Part 170 that became effective on June 20, 1984, requires that licensees remit a single application fee of $150 with each appli cation for license.amendment, relief, exemption or other requests.
This single $150 application fee is appropriate per application regard less of the number of changes requested by the application or the num ber of units involved. Consequently, we are retaining the $300 check for your two June applications referred to above, and we are returning to you Check No. A-260877.
For your information, a brief discussion of fees for applications for license amendments filed before and after June 20, 1984, is contained in Enclosure 2 to this letter. If there are questions on fees, call us on 301-492-7225.
