On June 23, 1980, I sent to you a copy of a Statement of Policy entitled "Further Commission.GuidanceFor Power Reactor Operating Licenses" which had been issued by the Commission on June 16, 1980.
On December 18, 1980, the Commission issued a Revised Statement of Policy on this matter as discussed in the covering Memorandum and Order, CLI-80-42. A copy of this revised statement (and covering Memorandum and Order) is enclosed for your information. I am advised that a copy of NUREG-0737, which is referenced in these documents, was sent to you under separate cover dated October 31, 1980.
