By letter dated May 8, 1989, you responded to License Condition 2.C.7 of Facility Operating License No. NPF-10 for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 2. This condition required you to verify that the original steam generator/Reactor Coolant System delta temperature and the Shutdown Cooling System initiation temperature limits are still suitably conservative, prior to five effective full power years.of plant operation. The staff has reviewed your response and finds that it satisfies the license condition.

Therefore, no further action is required on your part concerning this issue.

This completes staff action on TAC number 51651.
