CLOSEOUT OF BULLETIN 89-01 REGARDING WESTINGHOUSE STEAM GENERATOR MECHANICAL PLUGS FOR SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3 (TAC NOS. 73199 AND 73200)
This letter is to inform you that the Bulletin 89-01 issue regarding Westinghouse steam generator mechanical plugs for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit Nos. 2 and 3, is closed. This closure is based upon your response dated June 19, 1989.
However, your response did not clearly state your commitment not to install plugs from the subject heats in the future in accordance with Actions Requested, item 2.d of the bulletin. In absence of specific information to the contrary, it is our view that such a commitment is implicit in your response.
