RLStevenson Service List A need for additional informiation has been revealed by our review of your October 27, 1980 application for revision of your proposed license for new fuel storage at San Onofre Units 2 and.3. The information was discussed with Mr..Thomas Mercurio in a telecon on December 12.
The desired information consists of a description of the controls that will be used to ensure conformance with the fuel storage pattern in the spent fuel pool and in addition, should show that subcritical conditions will be maintained following any credible single contingency such as an operator mistake in fuel positioning or dropping of an assembly.
