SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 1, 2 AND 3 -WITHDRAWAL OFREQUESTS FOR EXEMPTION FROM 10 CFR 50, APPENDIX E, SECTIONS IV.F.2.B AND C, BIENNIAL EXERCISE OF ONSITE AND OFFSITE EMERGENCY PLAN (TAC NOS. MF2874 and MF2875)
Dear Mr. Dietrich:
By letter dated August 8, 2013 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML13221A274), Southern California Edison (SCE, the licensee),
submitted and requested an exemption from Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 50, Appendix E, Sections IV.F.2.b and c, related to the Biennial Exercise of Onsite and Offsite Emergency Plan for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3. By letter dated August 27, 2012 (ADAMS Accession No. ML13239A358), SCE requested to withdraw the request.
The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge the withdrawal of these items, and to notify the licensee that the NRC staff will close Task Assignment Control (TAC) Nos. MF2874 and MF2875.
