Exemption Request from Portions of 10 CFR 50 Appendix E, San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2 and 3
Dear Sir or Madam:
By letter dated August 8, 2013 (Reference), Southern California Edison (SCE) submitted a request for an exemption from the 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, Sections IV.F.2.b and c requirement. This exemption was a request to defer until 2014 the performing of the biennial NRC evaluated exercise of the onsite and offsite emergency plans. Based on discussions with the NRC staff and after consulting with the offsite agencies, SCE withdraws this exemption request.
There are no new commitments contained in this letter.
