Per Reference 1, Luminant Generation Company, LLC (Luminant Power) submitted License Amendment Request (LAR)12-005 to revise the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant (CPNPP) Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications 3.3.1 and 3.3.2. Reference 2 provided the results of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs acceptance review of the amendment request and concluded that the amendment request provided technical information in sufficient detail to enable the staff to proceed with its detailed technical review.LAR 12-005 was discussed with the Staff in a conference call conducted on July 22, 2013. Based on this discussion, Luminant Power has decided to withdraw License Amendment Request 12-005 from further NRC review.Accordingly, as discussed with the NRC Staff on July 22, 2013, Luminant Power requests to withdraw License Amendment Request 12-005.A member of the STARS Alliance Callaway
