Dear Sir or Madam:
On November 26, 2012, Entergy submitted a Seismic Walkdown Report (Reference 1) for Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 (Waterford 3) which provided the current status and results of plant seismic walkdowns. In Reference 1, Entergy committed to perform walkdowns for equipment that could not be inspected as identified in the Seismic Walkdown Report and to submit updated reports as specified in the Seismic Walkdown Report.
The purpose of this letter is to submit, as an enclosure, the Waterford 3 Seismic Walkdown Report Revision 1. This is a planned update to the Seismic Walkdown Report. All changes and updates to the Seismic Walkdown Report are denoted using either revision bars or Revision 1 annotations. All potentially adverse seismic conditions identified in the report have been evaluated in the Corrective Action Program for operability concerns and no immediate operability concerns have been identified.
