PALISADES NUCLEAR PLANT - WITHDRAWAL OF PROPOSED ALTERNATIVE REQUEST FOR RELIEF FROM IMMEDIATE ASME CODE FLAW REPAIR OF SERVICE WATER SYSTEM MANUAL VALVE MV-SW136 (TAC NO. ME9856)
Dear Sir or Madam:
By letter dated October 30, 2012 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML12305A362). Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (the licensee) submitted a relief request for Palisades Nuclear Plant (PNP). The licensee submitted the request for relief from Immediate ASME Code Flaw Repair of Service Water System Manual Valve MV-SW136.
Subsequent to the submittal of the request for relief, valve MV-SW136 was replaced on November 6, 2012. By letter dated December 11, 2012 (ADAMS Accession No. ML12347A159), the licensee withdrew the original relief request dated October 30, 2012. The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge the withdrawal of this relief request, and accordingly TAC No. ME9856 will be closed upon issuance of this letter.
