Dear Mr. Webster:
The emergency diesel generators at Oyster Creek are not dependent on service water for cooling. They use a fan/radiator assembly for cooling, exactly like a car does. At Oyster Creek, if the service water pumps are unavailable, this has no effect on the emergency diesel generators.

Thanks for the heads up, but this does not answer the question I previously asked. If the service water pumps go out as planned during the probable maximum flood, is there an alternative source of cooling water for the generators? If not, what would cool the spent fuel pool during the flood?
