Fort Calhoun 2.206 petition Ms. Wilkins:
The attached summary of the December 12 meeting regarding the structural and design defects at Fort Calhoun just came to my attention. Please add this to my submission from yesterday and make it part of the record in this proceeding.
It is a much better summary than I could muster due to my inability to hear everything at the meeting and not having the Powerpoint presentation in front of me.
I want to specifically emphasize the paragraphs at the bottom of the first page and at the top of the second page, where it states that OPPD knew about these defects since the 1990's but did nothing about them. I submit that th is is willful conduct on the part of OPPD. So when the PRB's initial recommendation states that there was no indication that OPPD willfully operated Fort Calhoun in an improper and unsafe manner, the evidence is to the contrary.
Thank you for considering this additional information.
