The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has completed its acceptance review of the Application for Consent to Proposed license Transfer, related to the proposed merger of CVPS, a 1.7303% minority co-owner of Millstone Power Station, Unit 3, with and into Green Mountain Power Corporation (GMP), both Gaz Métro Limited Partnership (Gaz Métro) subsidiaries, which was submitted jointly by CVPS and Gaz Métro on September 9, 2011 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML11256A051) and supplemented on June 26, 2012 (ML12180A123).
Based on its review of the application and all supplemental information, the NRC staff finds that the application contains the basic information required by regulations and the submitted information is sufficient to commence the application review. If additional information is needed for the staff to complete its technical review, you will be advised by separate correspondence.
