"Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units I and 2 - Conforming License Amendments to Incorporate the Mitigating Strategies Required by Section B.5.b of Commission Order EA-02-026 (TAC NOS. MD4637 and MD4638)," dated August 16,2007 The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Bulletin 201 1-01, "Mitigating Strategies,"
dated May 11, 201 1, to request each licensee to provide a comprehensive verification of their compliance with the regulatory requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 50.54(hh)(2). Addressees are required to provide a written response to the NRC in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(f).
In Bulletin 201 1-01, the NRC requested each licensee to submit a written response within 30 days of the date of the Bulletin. NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC provided the response for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant on June 10, 201 1.
The enclosure to this letter forwards the response requested within 60 days of the date of the Bulletin to provide information regarding mitigation strategies programs for 10 CFR 50m54(hh)(2).
The enclosure to this letter contains Security-Related information that should be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 2.390. The pages have been marked accordingly with the notation, "Security-Related Information - Withhold from Public Disclosure Under 10 CFR 2.390. "
