ThepurposeofthisemailistoprovidetheresultsoftheU.S.NuclearRegulatoryCommission(NRC)staffsacceptance reviewofthisapplication.Theacceptancereviewwasperformedtodetermineifthereissufficienttechnicalinformation inscopeanddepthtoallowtheNRCstafftoconductadetailedtechnicalreview.Theacceptancereviewisalsointended toidentifywhethertheapplicationhasanyreadilyapparentinformationinsufficienciesinitscharacterizationofthe regulatoryrequirementsorthelicensingbasisoftheplant.
TheNRCstaffhasreviewedyourapplicationandconcludedthatitdoesprovidetechnicalinformationinsufficientdetail toenablethestafftoproceedwithitsdetailedtechnicalreviewandmakeanindependentassessmentregardingthe acceptabilityofSNCsrequestintermsofregulatoryrequirements.
Ifadditionalinformationisneededforthestafftocompleteitstechnicalreview,youwillbeadvisedbyseparate correspondence.
