OFTHE MAY5, 2011 ANNUALASSESSMENTMEETING On May 5,2011, at 6:00 p.m., the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted an AnnualAssessment Nlleeiing at the R. E. Ginna Emlrgency operations Facility in Macedon' NY' The NRC requestej tne melting with Constellation Energy management to discuss the NRC's assessment of the safety performance of the R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant for 2010' The NRC presented and discussed its assessment of the safety performance at Ginna for the period of january 1 through Decembe_r 3i,2010. The NRC presentation included information on the Reactor oversigni-process (RoP) and the results of NRC's performance assessment for Ginn". As part of thisiegulatory performance meeting, Constellation presented its perspective regarding the plant's performance and operational goals for 2011.
The public was invited to observe this meeting. At the end of the meeting between the NRC and constellation, the NRC discussed u.s. nuclear plant safety in light of the recent Japanese events.
