OF THE MAY 5, 201 1 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT MEETING On May 5,2011, at 6:00 p.m., the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted an AnnualAssessment Meeting at the R. E. Ginna Emergency Operations Facility in Macedon, NY.

The NRC requested the meeting with Constellation Energy management to discuss the NRC's assessment of the safety performance of the R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant for 2010.

The NRC presented and discussed its assessment of the safety performance at Ginna for the period of January 1 through December 31,2010. The NRC presentation included information on the Reactor Oversight Process (ROP) and the results of NRC's performance assessment for Ginna. As part of this regulatory performance meeting, Constellation presented its perspective regarding the plant's performance and operational goals for 2011.

The public was invited to observe this meeting. At the end of the meeting between the NRC and Constellation, the NRC discussed U.S. nuclear plant safety in light of the recent Japanese events. The public attendees were then offered the opportunity to communicate with the NRC regarding Constellation's performance at Ginna and the role of the agency in ensuring safe plant operations. Questions from the public and local officials were addressed by the NRC.
